Dear Mr. Galanopoulos,

in 1992 we (my wife and me) stayed for two weeks on your beautiful island Thira.
Thira is not an island like other greek islands. Thira is a feeling. We made a
lot of excursions to get a better view of the island. One of these lead us to
Oia. So we found your atelier. Your art was so totaly different to everything
else we hade ever seen before that we ever had seen before that we never forgot it.
I remember one big art at the top of a wall. The rests of a small fisherboat are
coming out of this very impressing piece of art. Cause of the threedimensionality,
the materials you worked with (I think all materials you found on the island) and
your sight of view makes it look so real. A different small one shows a typical
island-house. All details, means this old looking door made of original wood
painted with this typical island-blue, the metal parts, etc. are absolutely
perfect. It shows us your sight of view from Thira. We decided when we ever come
back to Thira we would visit you again.

Dear Giorgos,

I want to thank you because we finally received on
Monday the painting.
You have done has for everybody else a very good job
with the packaging and everything is intact.

I cannot say the same for the DHL service infact on
Saturday we called them to know about the delivery and
they confirmed they were going to deliver the package
on Monday. They told us they were short staff for the
time being and they were running late with the heavy
deliveries. We asked them specifically to come in two
people to deliver the 65,5 kg pack but as usual they
did not care.

Any how, all forgot after unpacking the painting
that is absolutely beautiful and made myself and
Enrica happy and dreaming.

I take the chance to thank you again for everything
and hope to see you here in London.
